Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity

Study Abroad through Grady College - June 2022

• Spent three weeks in Cannes, France learning about and attending the festival

• Networked with companies big and small, ranging from entertainment to health to fashion, and with representatives from different countries and cultures

• Researched and interviewed companies from the Netherlands for a class project

• Engaged with talks given by professionals and private seminars for students specifically

• Attended nightly award shows that highlighted the inspiring creative work of global agencies

• Gained a better understanding of what it means to work in the PR industry and learned how broad a future in the industry can look

• Put nine years of French studies to use

Public Relations Student Society of America

Director of Finance - August 2022 to May 2023

• Supervise spending across eight executive board members

• Approve all purchases and generate categorized budgets alongside our chapter advisor

• Participate in weekly executive board and eight full-body meetings each semester

• Oversee the six-member Outreach Committee by leading meetings and fundraising events

• Manage dues for 250 members on the PRSA Nationals website

• Evaluate applications and distribute six scholarships to deserving members

Marketing Leadership Team Graphic Designer

• Designed 18 graphics using Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator to be posted on the UGA Miracle Instagram for members to repost during fundraising pushes

• Volunteer at UGA Miracle events twice a month with our "Miracle Families"

• Raised $1,500 this year for Children's Hospital of Atlanta across three fundraising push events

Rescue Paws UGA

Social Media Coordinator - July 2022 to May 2023

• Compose over 20 graphics each semester including monthly slideshows to highlight club representatives and event vendor spotlights

• Update the Rescue Paws UGA website regularly

• Direct the Instagram account for the organization posting at least three times a week to increase follower engagement

• Conduct monthly meetings as an executive board member

• Volunteer at Athens Clarke County Animal Services and foster dogs to relieve shelters

 

Gamma Phi Beta Historian - Since January 2021

• Design a physical 20-page chapter-wide scrapbook at the end of each calendar year

• Layout text, images, and graphics of events in a branded color scheme and aesthetic manner

• Re-elected each calendar year

• Generate eight graphics for each issue using Adobe Photoshop

  • Graphic aesthetics reflect the topics of articles produced by writers of this student-led fashion magazine.
